My workshops may last 1.5 hours on average, but the preparation takes another 1 to 2 hours as does the sorting up of the tools and materials post workshop.
Workshop Preparation
1. I select a number of card designs to make during the workshop.
2. I make Sample Cards to use as illustration at the workshop.
3. I prepare an ingredient pack for each customer with the exact ingredients to make the sample cards.
4. I pack excess materials for customers to use to create their own designs based on their experience of making the sample card/s.
5. I pack a selection of punches, labels, stickers, paper strips and squares and my guillotines.
6. Basically, less is more in Card Making- I try to trim down what I bring for the customer's to use, as otherwise it becomes overwhelming and the resulting cards are just a haphazard collection of pretty toppings without any design.
7. Post workshop everything gets dumped on my bags for sorting later on when I get home!
