These are two of the card types we'll be making at my Card Blanks workshop. You'll discover that your choice of blank cards can provide you with inspiration to move out of your comfort zone and create your own unique designs. At this workshop you will learn about card layout and design. You'll get to try and test a variety of blank cards and card embellishments. You'll make 3-5 cards and learn about essential card making tools and processes. Workshop lasts 2 hours,   and will be in the DLR Samuel Beckett Centre Ballyogan Leopardstown - near the post office depot. This location is wheelchair friendly. At this workshop you will get to try and test a variety of blank cards which are the building blocks of handmade cards. Using a selection of finishes and sizes you will make up to 4 cards and learn the value of different card textures, weights and sizes. FULL DAY Workshop for Card Makers with Some Experience This full day workshop runs from 10.30am - 4.30pm on Saturday April 25th. PLACES LIMITED TO 10 - booking closes by end of day Friday April 17th. The card making room on the lower ground floor of Bewley's Hotel in Leopardstown will be set up with card making tools and materials. You'll have 6 hours of card making time! We will focus on the theme of Birthday Cards for Young and Old - but you can also explore other themes. I will have many sample cards to inspire you along with tips and advice. You'll have a variety of blank cards to work with. I'll provide two card making demonstrations throughout the day - you can opt-in or out of these depending on your interest. They will run at 11.30 and then again at 2.30. The demonstrations provide instructions on how to make a specific card, whereby we make the card together in a step-by-step manner.
